Where AI-generated 3D earns its keep

Small teams use threeD to fill levels with props, prototype characters and test art directions before committing an artist’s week to a final model.

Makers use threeD to create figurines, replacement knobs, tabletop miniatures and gifts without modelling from scratch, then send a watertight STL to the slicer.

AR and VR need a lot of 3D content that loads fast and holds up close to the viewer’s eyes. threeD covers both halves: generation and optimisation.

Design teams use threeD to turn early sketches into something they can rotate in a review. E-commerce teams use it to turn catalogue photos into interactive 3D and AR product views.

Previs, storyboard and layout artists use threeD to get from script to a blocked-out scene quickly, with props and stand-in characters that can be replaced later.

Teachers use threeD to create models for lessons, and students use it to turn their own ideas and drawings into 3D, with no software to install on school machines.

Interior designers and visualisers use threeD to turn a supplier photo or a sketch into a 3D piece they can drop into a room scene, instead of searching model libraries for something close enough.

Game masters and hobbyists use threeD to make the character, monster or scatter terrain their table needs, at the right scale, and print it the same evening.
